Does anyone remember that old TV game show called, "The Liars' Club"? Four contestants tried to guess which of four celebrity panelists was telling a true story about the function of a strange or unusual object. Players began with $100 and could bet up to half of their total in each of several rounds. Each round had different point values and if a player guessed right in every round he or she won a bonus prize. This thread is starting to remind me of that game show.
are you sure it came from the car? it's not looking familiar, and DH has had the dash, the steering column, the entire interior, and even a seat apart.

I have to admit that I don't rightly know if it IS part of the car, but I have not installed anything or used any tools in the car, and it suddenly appeared one day. It does look like a undersink drain thingy, except it's much too small, about 3/8 in across. Thanks to all for trying. Anyone else
