    Missouri will probably be in June. Don't worry, I'll get there.

    If you're ever in Victoria, BC Canada I'd love to have a block heater installed.

    I would be interested. I live a bit over an hour south of the Denver metro area (add half hour more from downtown Denver), so would need a location to drive to in Denver.
    I would much rather have an experienced installer (who gets raves from the group) put in the heater than a first timer at the dealer.
    I think it is great that you are collecting notches on your toolbox!

    Other than the block heater, what else would I bring? Tie-offs for routing the cord? Address of a restaurant of your favorite type at which to thank you? I do not own ramps or jack stands, but could try to borrow some if needed.

    All you have to bring is the block heater, I will bring some ramps. Haven't decided where we are staying yet, it will either be just south of Denver or in Longmont.

    I'm in Longmont! I need my block heater installed, if only because I'm too busy. No need for ramps, I've got the garage ready.

    Send me PM!

    Green Bay, that's not even a day trip compared to some other excursions. I'll fit you in sometime, if you don't come to Hybridfest.

    It was a pleasure to meet Wayne and Nate (the owner of the other install).

    Wayne at work on Nate's vehicle.
    .[attachmentid=8355]

    Finishing up.
    [attachmentid=8356]

    He then installed the block heater on my Prius.
    [attachmentid=8358]

    Left a little DNA signature on both (minor scrapes).
    Excellent job on both.
    Did both in something under 40 minutes, then rode off into the West with his family..

    Thank you very much Wayne!

    I like that Murry, I may have to borrow that another time.

    It was great to meet Murry and Nate, I just wish I had more time to stay and chat some more. But off west we did go to Estes Park and had a great time at Rocky Mountain National Park today (Trail Ridge Road was open).

    Uggh, tomorrow is the 16 hour drive back to Chicago, I better go and get a couple more deep breaths of fresh air before the trip. Again great to meet some more Prius folks and do use those heaters.

    Did I hear right that you will be able to install the block heater at hybridfest?

    If yes there will probably be a lot of people wanting it done. I think we could do it in mass if there is space. I will volunteer to try to set it up if you will do the clinic on the install.

    The folks at CleanMPG.com are setting up the Sunday morning activities at Hybridfest. Right now I am scheduled to do a presentation on the Prius Hybrid Battery and to do block heater installs. If anyone wants to take pictures and record all the steps, that would be great and appreciated by our ChicagoPriusGroup since that is on our agenda for our mods page. Saying that, it is almost impossible to take actual pictures of the underneath install unless you go by Hobbit's from the top method and take pictures looking down. But we will be at Hybridfest, with all the hybrid guru's so.....

    If Sunday morning does not fit with your schedule then I am willing to do them anytime Friday through Sunday afternoon.
