Here's mine! I like these. They are heavy (if I remember correctly, they are 45 lbs total with tire) but they look great! :D

Wow, I really like those, UNWIRED!

Can you tell me where you got them, what they cost, etc? I have a Touring with Bridgestone Turanzas; they'd probably fit right on those.

    Really sharp looking! B)

Here's mine. Original Celica wheels so no warranty problems, and fit perfectly.

    Cheers.

I don't know about the US, but they do sell Nokian tires in Canada. I have Nokian winter tires, and they make driving in the winter a dream. Compared to many other winter tires designed for warmer climes, these tires work better on ice and snow and not as well (but still pretty good) on slush. If you live in a region with real winters, I strongly recommend them. They cost me $730 CAD (about $650 US) for the set of four without rims.

Brand is DeCorsa. Model is Fusion in HyperBlack color. 17" go for around $150. Any Discount Tire Retail Store can order them in.

    It looks great!

I'm going to assume you took a decent hit on milage though with a 40lb+ rim/tire combo?

Thanks for posting. It looks very nice. I had a Celica before Prius. I didn't think of a light weight rim at that time. I think they are very light since the whole car weights 2,450 lbs. Did you get a chance to weight them?

I am also looking into getting some 17" or 18" wheels. I am not really into racing style, so I know what weight may become an issue. Is there a fast and easy weight to keep in mind in order to avoid too much MPG drop? I am willing to spend some cash, but only if I can find something that really fits the style I am looking for. If it can't be done under the right weight, I will just have to look into something else.

Thanks for any info anyone can offer!

Dennis, nice pic in your profile, do you have any more pictures of your black rims on the car? Specifically farther away and more to the side? I have a metallic gray prius and black limo tinted windows and think the black rims would look nice on mine

    Hey there,

What is the aspect ratio on those tires? 45? I'm looking into the same rim size and tire width, and would like to know the tallest tire size I can cram into those wheel wells without rubbing. Thanks!

Mine is 205/40 R17. I don't like them. The ride is rough and pot holes are easy to damage the rims. The handling (cornering as well as highway side wind) is very good though.

    Hi Frank,

Mine are Nexen 3000N 215/45/ZR17 on Scion tc wheels. Handling improved tons, combined with the BT plate (which dampened corner roll and wind affect) I'm quite happy.
