I've become very good friends with the search feature so I sincerely hope that this isn't a question that's been gone over before. If I legally tint my Prius windows for my state (front: 35) but drive around in another state (California) where the legal window tint is 70, can they ticket me for it? Will I get pulled over? I don't plan on tinting my windows that dark.. probably will do an in-between and let in about 50. Thank you!
CA vehicle code applies to any vehicle operated on a CA road. You'll only get ticketed for illegal tint if you're pulled over for another reason. It is rare to be pulled over just for illegal tint.
