I chose 1501-3000 but since you didn't allow multiple choices I couldn't click "It's my home". Hahaha I was showing off my Prius to my racing friends at our local get-together last night and they thought it extremely funny that I had the back seats flat and a large comforter, blanket and pillow layed out all ready for a quick roadside nap session. Well everyone laughed except my buddy who commutes from Pollack Pines to San Quentin every day (140miles 1-way). He apparently thought it was a great use of cargo space. HA!
I commute 70 miles roundtrip, technically on highway, but often at speeds generally associated to city driving. <_< Did about 25K miles in the past year, which pegs me right about 2K per month, mixed. Oh yeah, and saving $100+ a month in gas compared to my previous "guzzling" 30MPG Integra.
2 weeks ago, my commute increased by 1500%. From 8 miles round trip to 120. I've been making a chart of my Odometer reading vs. date since I bought my prius (yes, i'm an engineer) and average slope of my plot went from around 60 mi/wk to 700 mi/wk. Talk about a major bummer!
I live in the building where I work, so there is no daily commute. I walk to the grocery store, the post office, the bakery, and the marina. I only drive if I have to go to the big city (population 16,000) for serious shopping, or go on a trip. I checked mixed, but we don't have real city driving, nor do we have what most people consider highway driving. There is a state highway, but it is two lane 55 mph. Tom
