I'd say the woman is supposed to represent a typical housewife, not the bathing beauty often pictured in car ads. The double entendre is humorous because housewives don't usually make that sort of statement in public.

Where the usual bathing-beauty car ad implies "If you buy this car you can get beautiful girls," this ad says "This is my car and I drive past gas stations without stopping." Of course, the theme would be more appropriate in advertising a ZAP Xebra.

Another thing that makes this ad even funnier to a Prius owner... is whether you admit it or not, your Prius is SBD (Silent But Deadly). I had another pedestrian run out in front of my car again yesterday!

 

I saw that ad! I love going to that Cheesecake Factory right there!
