hmmm interesting bug Evan... i use mozilla and by most accounts the two are supposed to be nearly identical. have you ever considered mozilla?? it does come with a lite version (firefox) and and full featured one like what i use. for years, it has used many of the safety features that MS has only recently incorporated into their browser like popup blockers, etc. check it out...www.mozilla.org
As for the acronyms, I love that there are mouse-overs. :-D That said, I do find it visually distracting that they be bold and on mine they are always overlined, not underlined. And it's a pretty thick line at that. I was thinking that a nice tint difference would be acceptable, perhaps blue. I can think of some acronyms to add. Just what is the process for adding them? Can we wiki a single page?
Unfortunately there isn't a way for you all to submit acronyms to be added, but we can use the existing KB thread as a basis for the acronyms I'll add to the database: http://www.priuschat.com/forums/kb.php?mod...ode=article&k=3 http://www.priuschat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=961 Tony, I'll see about changing their appearance a bit - I also wish that they would auto-hyperlink to a destination (like john1701a.com for example). I'll start adding acronyms from the thread above soon. Evan, I'm not sure about the bug you're getting - I'll check around and see if I can figure anything out.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(tms13\";p=\"43858)</div> Looking at the HTML, I see why. The TITLE attribute of ACRONYM may be used to provide the full or expanded form of the expression. PriusChat gives it some script attributes, which presumably do something for those willing and able to use them, but no TITLE for the rest of us.
