Hello, I've nailed down a price of 24,088 or 26,391 OTD for a 2007 Prius. I've gotten this at a couple of dealers, but would like to get this a bit lower as I've seen other postings for other parts of the country for a tad bit lower. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is pretty much all through the internet sales managers. Wierd thing is that for leather (#6)--I'm getting a low quote of about 1,500 higher or 27,900 OTD. Thanks for any help--I'm ready to take the plunge.
The best I have found for a standard w/package 5 here in San Diego is $23,925. I'm most likely getting the car today or tomorrow. Your quote is very close. If you are happy with the dealer and the car, go for it.
If that's the OTD price, it's good. I paid $24,322 for my package 5 plus taxes etc. and it came up to about $26+ out the door.
I just bought a package #5 and added leather at an aftermarket shop that does 95% dealer business. By doing this, I got a good price on the package #5 and added the leather ($950) for much less than if I would have bought a package #6 in the first place. There are other advantages to adding your own leather such as picking your exact color or type of leather (perforated or smooth, etc.). Consider aftermarket leather as an alternative. I just gives you more options that just buying package #6.
I just bought a Package 5 Prius (non Touring) on Friday. I bought from Melody Toyota in San Bruno and it was $23,988. Out the door it was somewhere near $26.2K. Good luck!
