I did it. The product quality is good. The instruction that comes with the product is poor, but you can get much info from this site anyway. Just search "Signal Mirror". There is a long thread on it. I wrote a detail memo on my installation. The wiring is a bit tough but doable in one afternoon.

 

A few Long Island Prius Owner Group members have done the mod. There are a few threads on Prius chat about these ebay covers. You can find detailed instructions with pictures at

I recently installed these. Seller did a great job with super quick shipping. I connected at the rear tail/signal and included a fuse.

 

I bought the same side mirrors off ebay. Good Quality. They look GREAT on the car and work perfectly. I paid a local auto body shop to install. They charged for about 4 hours labor and $180.
