This is a milestone for me. I just filled up at 60.1 MPG at 601 miles. I had a flashing PIP but pushed it the last 10 miles to get the 600 mile tank. I now have 5000 miles on my Prius and am getting the hang of P&G. I have made no modifications to the car yet and have concentrated on P & G with this tank. The only thing that I have done is increase my tire pressures to 44/42 the maximum reccommeded on the sidewall. [attachmentid=8118] Thnks to all the people who have posted techniques and instructions that helped me learn the different ways to drive the prius. There is still a lot to learn. Now for the 70 MPG tank.
wow nice great tank! I have only gone two tanks so far but my best is 520 miles (tank took 9.5 gallons at fill-up... not bad, but certainly not 600 miles!! wow
That's awesome! Congratulations. Hoping I can get a 60mpg tank this summer myself, I haven't even checked the tire pressures yet and I've had the car for two weeks now. Good luck on your quest to 70!

Add a little more pressure to your tires and keep expanding your (Prius) bladder and you'll get a 700 mile tank by the end of the summer. Wayne
