Just curious, what is your most often used volume setting? As I primarily switch between my DICE and the radio, I have to turn volume up for the DICE to about 38-40 and on radio it goes to 26-30 most of the time. If it's a song I really like I've been up to 50 on the DICE and 38 on the Radio. Just wish I could somehow boost the output from the iPod without losing the MFD display of the songs.

Depending on the song....40-50. What I would love though is a feature where the volume would fade up when you switch audio on. I often switch the audio off whn I park cause being a man, I can only do one thing at a time. When I switch the audio on again I get a sonic blast and have to jump for the volume button.
15-20 for CDs/MP3 20 for radio 30 if I feel like pumping it up although anything about 25 can be heard outside the Prius... seriously, try it some time. There's no dampener between the doors.

My kids have no trouble knowing where I'm parked when I come to pick them up. I'd crank it louder if the sound quality were better. What road noise? Is it the back window that's vibrating, or the rear view mirror? B)
30-35 for the radio and the DICE (when it's in AUX mode). If I'm using the iPod it's generally between 30-35, unless I'm listening to Fibber McGee & Molly, where I may have to go to 50 (they were recorded at a very low volume).
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(aaf709 @ May 12 2007, 12:27 PM) </div> On the DICE, you can adjust the volume levels coming from the module by going to DISC 1 while using the AUX jack. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Presto @ May 12 2007, 11:27 AM) </div> Can't argue with that.
