iPod Placement

    I was looking somewhere on here Saturday and someone had placed their iPod in the compartment in under the factory radio with instructions and Pictures. Does anyone know who or where this is. I have looked and searched all over even on google images. I would appreciate any help.

    No this one was just for placing the iPod cord through the area under the radio and to a dice unit. They had some grommets that they used and I was wanting to know what size. They drilled a hole in the back of the area to run a cable from the dice unit to the lower storage area below the radio.

    Oooo my bad. I did that very same thing but I just ran the cable from behind the radio to the storage area, and drilled the hole through the plastic. I can't see where you would want to use a grommet unless you wanted to fill in the hole you just made some.

    Yeah I am kind of anal about that kind of stuff. I like it to look professional even though I did it.

    Well then I made the hole the extact same size as the round plug from the DICE to the iPod. Buy a rubber grommet of the same size and feed it through. I put the hole on the driver's side so I can't see it and unless someone shines a light down in it, no one else can either.
