well volume and mode work, but not to change the tracks, and the tracks wont show up on the display...instead it says INT.
I've had the DICE unit for about 2 or 3 weeks, and never had this problem until yesterday, is this something easily fixed?

This is a 2005, right? Try pressing D5 and pressing the up or down arrow on the steering wheel. You may be in the AUX mode.

EDIT: Wait, you can hear the iPod, is that correct? If so, it isn't the AUX. I've only had a problem once or twice and all I did was unplug the iPod and plug it back in.

I tried unplugging/plugging the iPod in about 5 times, it didn't work. BUT! I did figure it out, I unplugged/plugged the actual unit. So I'd like to change my question to
"Where do you place the DICE UNIT in your car? Please post pictures if you can."

Previously I had it hidden inside the car, behind the stereo, and the adhesive fell and it ended up in my glove compartment, so now I need to figure out a nice and secure place to put it.

I put mine behind the far right A/C vent cover. Look in the lower right side of the picture, where the RCA cables (coming from the Ground Loop Isolator for the portable XM radio) are. The iPod itself sits inside the lower glove box.

If I ever need to get to the DICE, all I need to remove is the lower glove box.

You had it on simple mode. It didn't recognize that you wanted it in iPod mode until you pull the cable and plug it back in.

simple mode and ipod mode? is there a switch on the box? Or do I change it through the MFD? I'm at work right now, so I can't check my car at the moment.

You change this on the dice box where the DIP switches are. Do you have the DICE install instructions??? If not here they are:

    DICE Toyota Prius Instruction PDF

You can right click and either "save the target as" or "save link as". This is what comes with the unit. This will show you where to put the DIP switches.

Yeah. But it worked fine for about a month, and randomly decided to stop functioning through the steering wheel controls, and display, and didn't get back to normal until I unplugged, and plugged it back in.

I have it behind the vent immediately to the right of the MFD. It's held on by twist-ties (There's a small plastic loop to which I can secure the unit.
