A quick thanks to everyone here for the input and advice! Just signed up a few days ago, and it has been a great community. With your help, I was able to become the proud owner of a new 07 Prius! 2007 Prius Magnetic Gray Touring Edition Package #6 Best part, they had gotten this car in Yesterday. It had 1 mile on it when I test drove it; and then I purchased. So Every single mile on this car will be mine =) The dealer was pretty decent; didn't waste too much of my time, and the finance guy didn't hassle me too bad about all the extra options. All in all, a good experience. After taxes/registration/fees etc, and the purchase of a maintenance agreement, my grand total was 29k, which doesn't seem too outrageous for out here in CA. Its worth a little extra money to not have to hassle anyone about price =D So today, I begin the commute! Going from my 17mpg on premium Acura, to my ~45mpg (hopefully) regular Prius! Super excited! Thanks again!

Congrats on not only being a proud Prius owner, but being one of the elite Magnetic Grey owners! Also, I see you live in CA - do you live in Northern CA or in the wrong end?
Congradulations and good for you for making the tough decision, leaving the plush big HP acura. we need more selfless people like you in the world.
Hello Again, scapegoat CONGRATS on your '07 T/E Prius. You already realize you're gonna LOVE it. About MPG, it's been pretty well documented here in PriusChat that your fuel economy will gradually increase as your new Prius 'limbers up.' Some have reported increasing MPG up to 6,000 miles or more. On my 2004 (Traded for my 2007 Touring Pkg 6) it seemed that the plateau was reached at about 7,500 miles. My '07 is still too new to make conclusions. As you already know, PriusChat is a super source for practical, useful information. Also the Owner's Manual - admittedly it's not easy reading, but there's much helpful information to be found there. As I originally read my Manual, I highlighted salient info and added my own "Index" in the back for future reference.
