I was wondering what kind of personalized plates you folks all have, since I've seen some really inventive abbreviations. I just bought my Prius so I can't even order personalized plates until I receive my 'normal' plates.

But seriously, there is another thread on Pesonalized plate here http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=30866&hl=. There are some very clever onest.
mine's a regular plate. Although, if I were to get one, I'd probably get "TOTORO" since mine's a Tideland Pearl and it somewhat resembles that Japanese character. If I wanted a funny plate, I'll probably try to sign up for "O RLY" and see if that passes the DMV lol.
You can see my Avatar, J MUIR. John Muir is the most popular Californian ever and is on the California quarter. He is the "father" of our national parks and national forests. He was the first president of the Sierra Club. John Muir's birthday (21 April) is approaching. On 21 April I wear my kilt (Muir tartan) and pass out graham crackers - what Muir ate as a student at the University of Wisconsin.
I have ordered my plates and should get them next week. "MY PRI". We are limited to 6 letters including any spaces. I am also considering getting a bumper sticker in the same colour as the plate's backgound colour (green), which will read "Come Glide With Me".
I've not ordered yet, but planning on either PRI4US or PRI43 because our triplets will be driving it in 4 years (if they can pry the smartkey out of our hands.) weve also considered GAS-X or BEANO.

Basically stands for Ecological Design which means to design in a ecological minded way where you use biomimickry and natural systems to fulfill the needs of humans while not straining the environmental systems nor creating waste. See John Todd or David W. Orr for more info.

I had "51 MPG" (still do, sitting on my kitchen table), but the winter months proved I couldn't live up to such a lofty goal, so I recently switched to "LOLGAS". I saw a Prius two weeks ago with "HI MPG".
No fancy plat, just a custom frame. A bit different angle than most Prius drivers take - but then the Prius is typically the BEST gas mileage car for other people.
