http://marketinggreen.wordpress.com/2007/0...erated-content/ (or try http://tinyurl.com/2yuspm ) I was impressed by an online consumer driven enthusiast site that basically handled a consumer relations problem that for us was difficult to communicate. </span>
Nice to know who TMS USA really is!! Good for him trying to change the corporate mindset into embracing customers as partners instead of "us" vs. "them".
Wish TMS USA was still as active in his participation, but I suspect it'll be more intermittent as various significant Prius issues/events occur...announcement of the next gen for instance.
Bruce is a really great guy. When Danny got his Prius here in Chicagoland, Bruce flew in from California just for the event. Having the opportunity to sit and talk with him, it was clear he has a passion for what he does.
very nice article. its great to get recognition and to realize that our voices are heard. WTG Priuschat!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mcbrunnhilde @ Apr 19 2007, 02:10 AM) </div> Toyota is a good partner. Last year they were a sponsor of Hybridfest, and they are going to be an even bigger sponsor this year. (Details coming soon.) Toyota definitely understands the value of their customers and that satisfied customers can be great spokespeople for the brand.
Just wait until some doofus sues Toyota because he read about some weird mod here, battery or tire pressure or something, and gets himself into real trouble and wants to pass or share the blame. And since Toyota has way deeper pockets than some web forum...
That's a heck of a statement from TMS. Just a great testament to this site and the wonderful feedback you all give to fellow and persepctive prius owners. I'm proud to be a part of it now..
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Jerry W @ Apr 18 2007, 11:50 PM) </div> Apparently he hadn't wondered into Fred's. "naturally self-regulating" . . . Yeah, sure . . . thanks to efusco, TonyP, and tag. I think that is about the best compliment anyone could give a moderator. Congrats Danny and all!
"Corporate Manger of Consumer Generate Content," eh? I guess that makes him our BOSS!! All kidding aside, he sounds like a nice guy. Good to get props from him.
Yet another reason that I will buy from no other manufacturer than Toyota from now on. They absolutely rock! Sales staff at the Toyota dealerships I've worked with has been very professional, and now I can see why - it trickles down from the corporate level. I LOVE TOYOTA!
