I have really been in love with this car and much of the credit to my father. I took delivery of my 2006 Pri on Jan 1, 2006 from Star Toyota in Houston and was hooked. I moved from 2-3 tanks of super a week to 1 tank a week. I no longer bill my clients mileage and mark it all off on my taxes ( 8000+ ). I have my order in for the gen3. Are there any other Heavy users out there. As of today I have 42,863 mils on my Pri and should be at or near 66,000 by the end of this year. B)
Well, I dont drive that much, but I do drive 250 miles at least a week. The gas savings has been great! I also fell in love with the car after my father told me to test drive it as well as the Matrix. I was sold on the Matrix untill I saw a black Prius and tested it out. Dad was right. Who knew!
I used to do about 900Km/week due to commuting and random cruising. I got to 60,000KM in about 16 months. I probably do abut 350KM/week now since I live close to work, but when the weather is nice, I pile on the clicks. I drove over 2000km in the last 2 weekends with more to come next week The only reason I can put on all these clicks is because of the Prius. I'd be deep in the red if I drove that much in my last car.
Can't really give any long term stats but for a month have put on 3100 miles it was purchased in March
70k miles here 04 model. i guess i too drive because of my father... no.. he kinda hates the car. he drives an F450. my prius is faster though I used to use my car as a delivery vehicle. 200 miles a day.

I got my '05 on August 15th of '05 and immediately drove it to California and Nevada (Reno). I took the coast route through Oregon down to Watsonville, etc. I had 3000 miles on it in the first 2 weeks. I'm not driving as much now, although I did go down to California during spring break. I don't have a long commute, but do take relatively long vacation trips. A year ago last Christmas it was to Vegas to catch a flight to Dallas. This Christmas I wasn't able to travel, although I intend to drive to Florida next Christmas. I've never gotten rid of a car until it had at least 200k miles on it. Dave M.

Almost 32,000 since new Jan 06. Not one problem, never been back to the dealer. I'm loving it. Avg mpg 48-49 without even trying.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Tideland Prius @ Apr 17 2007, 07:59 PM) </div> I'm at 70,000km now. I think I hit 60,000km in the fall sometime. I'm probably gonna do the Meritt loop, again, this weekend The Prius helps get the wanderlust out of my system!
I have 91,000 miles on my 2004 model, bought 3/1/2004. My commute is 120 miles, but only twice a week. No problems so far. I have not had to replace brakes or much else yet. Did get Michelin HydroEdge tires at 63,000 mi or so.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Presto @ Apr 18 2007, 07:38 PM) </div> ohh.. so you've slowed down the mileage a bit lol. Is that loop really that scenic? I remember you mentioning it once before and how you saw the snowflake (must've been last fall?)
I'm putting on far less mileage now that my 'commute' is only 5 min now vs. the 45min I was doing before October . I like the route a lot because of the twisties and varied scenery. Last week I saw the snowflake again while driving on route 3 through Manning Park. It even snowed for 20km. From Princeton to Tulameen is the twisty Coalmont Road. Past Tulameen is a freshly raked, 40km gravel road that joins back up with route 3.
