I bought one, ane it has all it says it does. Took me a while to figure out how to navigate, using the Bookmarks feature of Adobe Acrobat. It was very helpfull for knowing where to use the trim tool to take the door panels off for my Signal Miror mod.

Probably doesn't exactly comply with all copywrite laws, but that is just a hunch on my part.

They're clearly in violation of copyright laws, no probably about it. Let your morals guide you.

Oh sure, I don't doubt that for a second. Someone went to the trouble of getting a subscription to the Toyota tech site for $10 ( http://techinfo.toyota.com/ ) downloaded all the individual files, burns them all to a CD and sells them illegally. I'm sure it's the real deal...I have a copy of the '04 service manual I got the same way..not realizing when I ordered it that it was a pirated copy. It's also not easily accessible...basicly you've gotta just search for what you're looking for with the search feature of Adobe Acrobat.

Is there a legal version of the same thing? Or do you have to subscribe to the site and go online?

I downloaded from the site. It only cost $50 for a full month, and that gave me time to get anything I wanted.

    I even downloaded the '06 and '07 Owner's Manuals.

I don't remember, but they might even let you purchase a legal CD version. The total size is only 189 MB. At least, that what I have on my hard drive.

    Ebay, red flag.
    .
    Poor english, red flag.
    .
Service manuals which are nominally only available via the
    mechanisms discussed, red flag.
    .
    Paypal-only, red flag.
    .
But good luck getting anyone at ebay to follow up on sleazy practice.
I'll bet even Toyota's lawyers would meet a stone wall on this one.
    .
I've been known to hang a file index out there of what I pulled down
in an effort to help the next person, but everyone gets to pay for
    their own actual content.
