Curiosity is getting to me. On many cars - not just Toyotas, I see a rectangular attachment to the license plate frame. It appears to have a sensor at each side, along the front. Does anyone know what this is? It's about 1-1/2" high and is long enough to attach to the license plate bolts. I've never been able to catch up with an owner of one of these vehicles. Thanks.

If I had a good picture of the front of my car, I'd post it. But you might be able to see just a little bit of it in the pictures (click here) Rand took at our Nov 11 meet. Check the front of the black Prius ... the plate is blacked out, but a corner is just visible.
