Hey folks, do any of you have a spare stock antenna base lying around that you don't need any more? If so, is it possible that I can get it off you? Some of you may or may not know but I've damaged my base when I backed into the half-opened garage door. The whip part is fine I believe but the base isn't. I have a gap between the base of the antenna and the roof of the car that's currently filled, covered rather, by duct tape. I was hoping that if you had replaced your stock antenna with the sharkfin, that you would have no need for the stock antenna. If so, please drop me a PM. I'd like to have mine replaced and well, you don't want to know the dealer's price for it... I'll pay for shipping. TIA, - TP

If someone got one from Sigma they have the sharkfin that replaces the base. I just looked up a new base and I feel for you. This doesn't have much to do with the topic, but I think the stock antenna is cute, the shark fin kind of ruins the look of the car.
yeah I got quoted Cdn$191++... ugh. Maybe it'll cover up some of the scratches that I made on the roof too >.<. <sigh> I need a summer job first before I start spending. I hate to be in red by the end of summer.
