Just wanted to share information about all-weather floor mats for those living in the wetter or snowier parts of the world... I just today received mats that I ordered from Weatherall - the Advantage Luxury All-weather floor mats, and I'm really very happy with them. I wanted an all-weather mat that fit perfectly and could handle melted snow without necessarily looking too rubbery and industrial. These are guaranteed to hold up to 1 1/2 quarts of water, are heavily rubberized on the bottom but have a plush stain-resistant carpet inset that matches the carpet almost exactly. They are actually nicer, in my opinion, than the ones for sale at Toyota for 185. They cost me 110 dollars (not cheap) but I do feel were worth it. For those that want all-weather protection with smoother styling, I highly recommend them.
jsarich, could you post more info please? I went to WeatherTech and Prius was not listed in their database as available. any thoughts? thanks, jon
I'm sorry, I should have provided the link before: http://www.weathertech.com/store/vehsearch...opt_choice_id=0 Hope this helps! Jody
Oooooh! Thanks for the tip! Not sure how it happened, but I lost the drivers' side mat. (Probably as a direct result of my obsessive cleaning) These would be a perfect alternative. What does it say about cleaning them?
Do you have a Costco in town? The Costco in my town has a very nice set of four (with grooves to hold lots of melted snow) for only 20 bucks per set! Plus, they fit the 2004 Prius beautifully. :?
What about the WeatherFlectors? Anybody tried them? http://www.weathertech.com/store/vehsearch...item_group_id=4
I have a set of these for my Ford Windstar and they are great. Easy to install. They may add to the road noise though - the window doesn't always seat well when completely closed. I have no idea how they work for a Prius.
