<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(aaf709 @ Apr 2 2007, 05:25 PM) </div> Tideland Pearl was/is green.
Personal experience: the driftwood pearl looks great in the photos, but up close it's just a boring brown with shiny bits in it. It basically looks like a shiny turd.
I think the lighter colors are the way to go... eek out a little more mpg's with the a/c on just a little bit less during sunny / hot days. I like the pine the best. Tan is ok, but getting too common, and the red just looks too much like ketchup to me.
Didn't care! Went for the lowest price with Bue Que options! '04 w/ everything ~ $18,500 in December of '04. Ended up being white. Even so, white is the easiest to keep / appear clean.
If you can't get black I would go with the Silver Pine Mica - very nice looking. Red would be my second choice of the 3 options.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mywhitenoise @ Apr 2 2007, 02:37 PM) </div> Yes, I did consider that for a while. I made it a point to see what the colors looked like in flesh. I liked Tideland Pearl, but the ones I saw were green only in certain lighting. Sometimes it was gray. I understand that was one of the rarer colors of 2005.
Get a gray interior. That leaves out the Driftwood Pearl unfortunately. Either Red with gray or Pine with gray are nice. I'd go either way but I think the pine with gray is very nice. Of course....Black is a classic.
It is? I confess I'm surprised. I thought white would show everything - indeed, actively attract dust and dirt and grime and grunge and so on and so forth....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(elmofongo @ Apr 2 2007, 05:33 PM) </div> Silver Pine Mica I love that one.
Silver Pine Mica if you wanna be unique. Barcelona Red Pearl if you want to be seen. Driftwood Pearl if you want to blend in.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hill @ Apr 2 2007, 05:48 PM) </div> I must agree about the Super White! All the others are just pigment.
I really love my Salsa Red, and I'm sorry they didn't keep that color since I don't like the Barcelona red quite as much. Silver Pine Mica is the only other color I would consider--it depends on whether you want to stand out or blend in. I definitely don't blend in, so I didn't want my car to either!!
Well, local availability has limited me to the barcelona red. Since we have the price we want from the dealer and he only has a red one comming nin next week we will be taking that . Barcelona red it is !

Great Choice! We would have gone for the red as well, if we didn't already have a Salsa Red Sienna. Can't have two similar colors in the driveway! In the end the Seaside Pearl was the next best choice, although I would have much preferred the Japanese Blue!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Darken @ Apr 6 2007, 12:14 PM) </div> I love that blue too. It's pretty common in Japan, I was there last November and saw a bunch of cars that color. Dave

I wanna be seen!   <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveLeePrius @ Apr 6 2007, 12:20 PM) </div> Is that a Prius? Or is it a hatchback?
