    FHoP is just turned into a forum for Fear and Hate of other People and their values especially if they differ from your own. . . BTW it does come from both sides. . .

    Fear Hate Bush
    Fear Hate Conservatives
    Fear Hate America
    Fear Hate Christians
    Fear Hate anyone with a different Point of View than the yours.

    You should change the title to Fear Hate other People :angry:

    Some of mine haven't been much better at times but where it was needed I have apologized, agreed with a rebuking reply or changed the post. One example is a rather offhand and inappropriate remark I made to someone regarding "Kitty Litter" it was not in anyway vulgar just not nice. The post was asking for advice on which type to purchase. At the time I thought 'what the heck!' this isn't the place for that and made a silly but mocking comment about cats, poop and feline bodily functions. The Mods seemed to think it was so inappropriate that they summarily deleted my post without warning or comment. BTW I should thank whoever did that. However, when I see completely vulgar posts like the above and scores of posts from the left not as vulgar but along the same lines breeze right in and go without comment it makes me wonder what they are trying to accomplish here? I hope it’s not what I am seeing posted now but some of the communications I have received from the mods seem to indicate that is their aim and goal.

    If you post something making fun of or critical, negative or otherwise of anyone to the left of center you get angry letters, posts and warnings from the mods. Heaven forbid you should criticize their policies or procedures you'll get kicked or have your posts censored. Yet this type of hateful spew from the left of center crowd is rarely if ever commented upon by the Mods. At least not publicly and not privately either cause they keep posting the same hate filled spew the very next day. Yep its their board they can run it anyway they want. I guess they want and intolerant, bigoted, narrow minded, hateful and in the post noted above repulsively vulgar forum. :angry: Congratulations you have crafted a fine example. <_<

    Considering the quantity of venom the right spews at the left, including insults, unfounded accusations, and using the circumstance of a political candidate's name to suggest that he is linked to terrorists, it seems to me that the Kow has it backwards.

    However, if he is really leaving, I will miss him and his dancing banana. I disagree with him on nearly everything, but I kind of like him.

    I think the blame can be put on both sides. I have certainly partaken in some seemingly exasperating discussion, but I feel that I have persevered in re-stating my points and thus managed to turn knee jerk reactionary responses (with some questionable labels for liberals) into a semi peaceable thread... well at least IMNSOHO :D

    Too bad he is not reading this ;) , as I am sure he would be utterly disappointed that no one is spewing good riddance venom, which I would certainly disapprove of and call out.

    I put him on Ignore a long time ago (such a handy feature). 89% of his posts were in FHoP, over 1200 of them. That's rather impressive in its own way.

    I suspect you may be right, Godiva.

    I won't (I'm referring to the banana). It became a visual Pavlovian indicator that the post I was about to read would most likely be more irritating than shaving my head with a cheese grater. :)

    I agree wtih Daniel; considering some posts I've read (and oft times allowed myself to be pulled into), I doubt the deleted post/link was simply "disagreeable".

    Whether you want acknowledge it, the venom flows in both directions here. The poster dberman (on the "right") catches hell from plenty of posters on the "left." There's little civility in their responses to him.

    I have to wonder why that is (about dberman)... well no more wondering here.

    And Wildkow, you're not fooling anyone... I'd be VERY surprised if you weren't among the top 10 if someone was to look at every member's post and count how many posts out of the total contained 'hate-speech.'
