I voted "No, ..." but I guess I should have held out for a "Just No" option. While there is plenty of sloppy reasoning and name-calling on any online forum, not every instance of comparison to Hitler and the Nazis is invalid While it's true that the bases of many Nazi atrocities have been long-ago thoroughly discredited, there are certainly other topics of active debate and serious consideration today for which National Socialist policies and practices can provide instructive (which is not to say definitive) historic examples. Medical euthanasia and gun control are two that come to mind.
