Count me in. I take no offense to the term "Baby Blue". (Checks pants): My masculinity remains intact. You know, speaking of colors, many people feel that their vehicle is an extension of their sexuality, yet others feel its a complement to it. Case in point: The ultra-macho biker will paint his custom chopper in a beautiful shade of purple, a color he would never wear, but his woman will wear the color to match. I chose seaside because it was friendly and seemed to fit the character of the car. Yet I was startled once when a guy at the auto parts store came out to see it because it said "It sure is a pretty color." (No, he wasn't gay). He looked at it the way I look at a girl, and suddenly, I understood. Count me in the club. ;-) Nate

Actually, that's an Aztec Bronze. Is that what the US calls Tideland Pearl? Picture was taken in 2005, so predates Decuma Grey.
Awesome! I just joined Priuschat a few days ago, and didn't know this "GROUP" existed. Roxanne says "Hello!"

Hmm... I just spotted this thread myself... don't know how I missed it. I want in too! When I was shopping Seaside was my first choice and Barcelona Red was my second. Really, any colour would have sufficed - as long as it wasn't SILVER. I see way too many silver cars on the road, and did not want to contribute to that colourless epidemic! B) As well, I think I have seen a total of only maybe three or four other blue Prii in the 11 months I have had my car... if you can believe that! But then again there are very few Prii around here to start with... I do think Seaside is the nicest colour for this car, though that is probably a biased comment.
Last weekend I took Roxanne on a trip to commemorate her first 25,000 miles and a new set of tires. Here she is parked next the beautiful dunes of Grayton Beach, FL. [attachmentid=7239] The lady and I also took her to some caves, and a canyon...no pics of that, though. I'm gonna give her a bath tomorrow.
Well, please add "Coastie" to the list of Brilliant Blues. Coworkers all name their cars, and "Coastie" seemed a natural - first to honor the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, which uses a similar color, and second, since I spend a lot of time coasting to regenerate battery power in the coastal hills.
[attachmentid=7257]Hmmm. So that's its official name. After seven years at Westwood, I thought it was Bruin Blue.
Finally... a group that showcases the best looking Prii out there. I'm in. Here's mine... looking a little dusty out in Death Valley National Park. -Peter B
