Never mind that galaxee has a certain advantage in that her dh is also her mechanic--ergo, LOTS more potentially imaginative--and possibly mind-boggling--opportunities. Maybe they should write a book--could raise LOTS of...DOLLARS...to help defray starving grad student and dh med bill expenses, no? B) <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TJandGENESIS @ Mar 21 2007, 12:08 AM) </div> Nope. This poster will now GOOGLE Joss Stone... The next poster took less than 6 weeks to figure out his or her iPod. (and THIS poster has about 8 days left before the next airplane trip for which she NEEDS it...and refuses to allow 19yo to do it for her!!!)
Yes. I am an iPod-packing person who never actually had to "figure it out." I think I have an unholy bond with my iPod. I cherish it. The next poster has sinus issues today. (TJ--how's the new Joss Stone? I have both of her last albums--lovelovelove her voice.)
little bit. i think i have to go back and clean all the windowsills again to get the rest of the mold that was growing there and making me feel nasty. [and while it may seem on the surface that we've got everything together, i still feel like my head is 10 feet under water... ] the next poster has a pet that can say "i love you."
Well, doesn't exactly SAY I love you, but I'll take wanting to jump in my lap and INSIST on being petted as the same thing. The next poster was away for awhile from this thread and came back for a little sanity.
No, I'm obviously here too much. The next poster thinks the previous poster's comment about 'a little sanity' might be more appropriate than they intended.
Nope... wasn't away. My daily sanity is precious and too precarious a thing to risk losing! Oops... posted over you hyo... Uh.... sure. The next poster wants to know if the Sex in a Prius drink would be shaken or stirred?
No, I've never had a mojito. The next poster likes my recipe for the "Sex in a Prius" drink: 1-3/4 ounce Vodka, 3/4 ounce Strawberry Schnapps Shake with crushed ice, garnish with orange zest. I think it has to be a vodka drink because vodka has the simple, clean efficiency of the Prius... Maybe we'll have to make "Sex in a Prius" a thread with different recipe suggestions and the results of testing
Sounds electrifying, Ichabod. The next poster found out what the car alarm sounded like when they rolled over on their keys in the middle of the night on a camping trip.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(livelychick @ Mar 21 2007, 10:51 AM) </div> It's great! The next poster is now standing up, going to get something to drink.
Not at the moment (listening to a world music compilation) but Clifford Brown was a great trumpeter whose life was cut short too soon. The next poster was once a bartender and was also thinking about what to put in a "Sex in a Prius" before seeing the recipe posted in this thread (we should have a contest! )
Yes! My version is a mojito with coconut rum instead of regular. Delicious! (and reminds me of the "you put the lime in the coconut" song.) The next poster likes calypso.
If I'm on a tropical beach somewhere, absolutely. The next poster remembers the ad campaign for 7-UP, "The Un-Cola" with the man who had such a beautiful deep voice.
Yes! Actor Geoffrey Holder. He was also in the movie, Annie. He was as cool as the dancing Dr. Pepper man. Next poster is about to fall asleep at the keyboard.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(orionll @ Mar 22 2007, 03:19 AM) </div> More and more climatologists are adopting the view that global warming will, overall, increase both the number and intensity of hurricanes. However, as the number of hurricanes in any given year is small (from a data-gathering point of view) and there are seasonal and cyclical factors (currents, wind patterns, etc.) so you can't predict the number for any particular year. My guess (not prediction) is that since 2006 was a light year for hurricanes, we will have more this year. But I hope not. No, people do it all the time. The next poster will only respond to one post.
