Never mind that galaxee has a certain advantage in that her dh is also her mechanic--ergo, LOTS more potentially imaginative--and possibly mind-boggling--opportunities. Maybe they should write a book--could raise LOTS of...DOLLARS...to help defray starving grad student and dh med bill expenses, no? B)

Yes. I am an iPod-packing person who never actually had to "figure it out." I think I have an unholy bond with my iPod. I cherish it.

1-3/4 ounce Vodka,
3/4 ounce Strawberry Schnapps

Shake with crushed ice, garnish with orange zest.

I think it has to be a vodka drink because vodka has the simple, clean efficiency of the Prius... Maybe we'll have to make "Sex in a Prius" a thread with different recipe suggestions and the results of testing

More and more climatologists are adopting the view that global warming will, overall, increase both the number and intensity of hurricanes. However, as the number of hurricanes in any given year is small (from a data-gathering point of view) and there are seasonal and cyclical factors (currents, wind patterns, etc.) so you can't predict the number for any particular year. My guess (not prediction) is that since 2006 was a light year for hurricanes, we will have more this year. But I hope not.
