I was too. That was 3.5 years ago, though. But even back then, I was quite a strong supporter of Prius. So my offline hybrid friends forced me to begin doing stuff online. ...I wonder if they knew what would become of that. Hmm? I went from newbie to a leader in no time flat. That certainly wasn't expected.

 

OK, for my first post here, I'm going to ask a question that I remember has been mentioned before, but I can't find it. How do I turn off the reminder that my car needs serviced. The dealer didn't do it when I took it in and I don't want to drive 25 miles to have them push a few buttons. I couldn't find it in the manual.

I may be the first to post from Ireland - anyone know any different?

I saw my first Prius about a month ago - I knew what it was because of the great Larry David promoting the car in his TV show.
Now I just have to work up the courage to spend upwards of 28000 Euros on an 04 Prius - that's the base price here! And that's even with a 50% reduction for hybrids off the government's criminal VRT (vehicle registration tax - 25% of list price - which makes IReland one of he most expensive countries in Europe to buy a car)!

The information on this board has been excellent so far - I'll try to put back what I get out!

 

I guess in my position where I have only posted a few times because 1)I am not in the USA and 2) I drive a classic Prius, it is not a case of being scared, but having nothing to contribute as this forum is primarily geared towards the 2004 onwards.

I can only read of the euphoria of owning a 2004 and the headaches for those on the waiting lists and help celebrate the technological marvel that is the Prius in thoughts rather than words.

I am happy with my Classic 2002 and equally happy to continue lurking and reading posts in the background

OK, how do I make a post? Don't see button named "New Post"? My real question is why on Prius Prime the light interior is "out of inventory" and has been so for months. Toyoto going out of business? Small cars need light interiors. Also, can't get moon roof with Prius Prime. What kind of nut jobs they got working for them???

I "still" lurk a lot, just a newbie joining in 2009. Sometimes I just don't know "what" to say to some of the posts these days, so I don't. Must be how I was raised.
