    I don't get to see to many Prii down here in the home of the shrub so I get
    more excited about 'where' I see the Prii, not so much about how many.

    It'd be interesting to see what comes out of this one.

    For myself:

    1 = a Texas Instruments parking lot

    1 = ditto for a Raytheon lot

    1 = Richland college (a chem professor was driving)

    2!! = the Museum of Fine Arts - Houston (with mine it became 3 in a 30ft radius!...one had Calif. plates):)

    0 = during one entire week in Monterrey, Mexico (booo!) :(

    I see about one per week while making my rounds. Now, if only there was a truck version.....hmm.

    The city of Norfolk has an entire fleet of them. The city worker gets a Prius instead of a Lincoln or whatever the big sedan is. My university also has several. The Prius is popular around here.

    The City of Houston has a number of them being used as official vehicles now.

    I saw on the news that Eagle Colorado just bought 20 of them for city use. All green!

    I can't drive 2 blocks without seeing another Prius. Here in the SF Bay Area they are all over the place.

    I see quite a few in Ann Arbor, but specifically,

    1. Saturdays at the farmer's market there are so many of them representing all colors.
    2. At Whole Foods.

    I saw them all over the place when I visited my brother on Cape Cod this past weekend.

    3 at my favorite Starbucks (mine made 4). The parking lot is shared with a couple trendy clothes stores & a popular family restaurant, so I don't think they were all drinking half-caf triple shot lattes. :D

    I asked the good folks at Art's Automotive in Berkeley about their servicing hybrids. They held off a bit on getting the necessary training, to see if hybrids would catch on. "Now you can't throw a rock in Berkeley without hitting a hybrid," said one of the mechanics.

    I saw two white Prii parked near each other on the campus of UC Berkeley. One had an exempt plate, indicating that it is an official vehicle, though there were no markings on it. Maybe it is an unmarked campus police car.

    I see at least 3 each way on my 4 mile commute to work, weather I'm riding or driving.

    Damn, a stealth police car. But of course, they didn't know that it could be silent...

    My office(s) has about 3000 folks working here...give or take a few hundred. Besides my "Cool Black Prius," I've seen one other black one, one silver one, and one of the beige/bronze ones (sorry, can't remember the Toyota name of that color).

    So, not a good ratio. HOWEVER, when I go to fellowship on Sunday, there are at least 4-5 Prii out of a congregation of about 200 or so. Much better.

    Still don't see many Prii here in Toronto, though they are slowly catching on. I typically see 1 or 2 in my daily 75 miles of driving across the city, often the same ones, if you can believe that! ;)

    In fact, I see more Camry Hybrids than Prii these days.

    I am also the first (and only) Prius driver at my office; a well known electronics manufacturer with over 500 people in this location... :huh:

    The local NBC affiliate has one. I drive past it a couple times a week. There aren't any in my parking lot at work. Occasionally that is another one, but not very often. It makes it very easy to find mine though. But 1 out of 200+ isn't a very good ratio. Of course, it's better that 4/3000.

    I've counted 8 (including mine) in the parking lot of the campus where my company is located. 2 in my apartment parking lots. And oodles and oodles just driving around.

    I see 4 Prii in the parking lot at work, out of maybe 100 cars. When I get lazy and drive to work instead of biking, I see 5 ;)

    I saw an empty space in a Trader Joe's lot next to a Prius, so I parked mine there. The other owner came out of the store as I was getting out and said "nice car!" He was an older fellow with a bowtie and leather patches on the elbows of his tweed blazer. "Typical," I thought to myself, and smiled at him. :D

    I work at Apple in Cupertino and there are a bunch of hybrids here. Most are Prii. There are five in my parking lot (a rather small one).

    I see 15-20 on my commute some days heading to Santa Cruz.

    I don't see many other Touring models though.
