Diane has been great in keeping us up to date on what cars she's getting out of her region's allocations. My area dealers are less than forthcoming. They are ALL the highest volume Prius dealers. They are ALL getting the areas largest Prius allocations. Since I don't believe any of this, I am curious as to how many dealers are in my region. I live in WNY. What states encompass my region and how many dealers are in those states? When I ask the dealers, they say they don't know how many dealerships are included in their region (in other words, they don't want to tell me that '300' dealers are vying for '79' cars and they probably won't see any of them). If anyone has this information, I would appreciate it.
haha...yeah, two of the 3 dealers I've dealt with are either '2nd in prius sales in the country', and '3rd in prius sales in the country'. At least they talked over numbers and didn't overlap one another.
