Well the prius turned 3 years old today.. :D hit 94,000 miles this morning.. and still going strong..
Everything is still running fine.. no problems and no complaints.
I do about 45K a year now.. so should hit 100K buy the end of april..
Want to try to keep it until 250K miles.. we will see how it goes..

Great! Yet another Prius that is beating the expectations of the detractors. I am running around 25k miles a year and no problems yet.

You might not want to be in such a hurry to hit 100,000 miles. Didn't you hear that the batteries suddenly all die and it'll cost you more than the cost of the car to replace them?

    :D

Seriously, that's awesome! Do you have a spreadsheet or chart or guess as to lifetime average mileage?

I have been keeping track of the mileage since new.. but stopped puting it into my spreadsheet at about 45K miles..
My estimate is about 50 MG average since new.. I was at 52.7 at about 45K miles.. and since then have been doing more highway.. which would lower my average

Congratulations. I'll hit three years and close to 60,000 miles next month. My MFD works erratically, the front axle has been replaced, the ABS system quit working one day (now repaired), for many months the red triangle and check engine lights came on and off erratically, and a couple of times the car shifted by itself to neutral while cruising the highway. <_<

Wow, that's fantastic. I've an aquaintence here in Missouri that I talked with last week who's over 112k miles...no issues other than the MFD replacement and routine maintenence. I'm at 3 1/2 years 56k miles and likewise happy as a bug.

Yeah my MFD gets real slow in the cold weather.. but has not gone bad... yet..
So I am hoping it lasts a few more years..

Being a new Prius owner, approx. 1850 miles, it sure looks good. We plan on keeping ours for at least 7 years. Keep it going.

Congratulations. I am new onwer and I was wondering if your gas mileage is still good or as the battery gets old the gas mileage goes down too?
    Thanks.

Awesome! It takes a lot of seat time to get to almost 100K in only 3 years. I've got about a year and a half of ownership under my belt and only 13K miles.

    Keep us posted!
