Copied from the Toyota site: New 2007 Prius Special APR 0% APR for 24 Months 2.9% APR for 36 Months 2.9% APR for 48 Months 2.9% APR for 60 Months At least we did the 48 month 3.9% apr instead of the 60 month 4.9%, or else I would be even more upset! I can't believe 2.9% on 36-60. Well, that's good for you guys getting one this month!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(razzledazzlebee @ Mar 3 2007, 11:37 AM) </div> WHAAAAAAT?!!?!?!?!? I got the 3.9 too!!! !#&^$*^@*&(^$*
Is it possible (or worth it) to refinance the loans via a credit union? My credit union had pretty good rates on auto loans and the only reason I didn't go with them was because of the 0% financing special in Feb. I don't think a CU would go 2.9% for 60 months but they may for 36 months.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(moxiequz @ Mar 3 2007, 01:11 PM) </div> Moxiequiz, it depends on the credit union. Right now my credit union is giving a not so desirable rate of 5.5% for new cars and 6.00% for used cars so that was not an option. Inquire with your credit union, it never hurts to try.
We got ours last month for 0% for 24 months with automatic bank draft. What could be easier. Love my new Prius.java script:emoticon('', 'smid_4')
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(razzledazzlebee @ Mar 3 2007, 12:37 PM) </div> Damn you people with good credit!! I only qualified for 8.9% for 72months with Toyota Financial. hopefully later this year I can refi and get a lower rate. I'm paying an extra .25 cents towards my balance for every mile that I go over 1200 miles a month. so hopefully it will be paid down a little.
Yeah, I saw this too and was a little annoyed. The 0% financing in my area went up to 3 years from 2 in February. Oh well, I guess I'll get it paid off sooner. :-/
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(chicagoprius2 @ Mar 5 2007, 01:48 PM) </div> Y'all just be happy you didn't buy yours back in November 2006 like we did, before there were any incentives.
We bought ours in October last year and they had a special that weekend with a local credit union for a 72 month loan at 5.99%, and they said Toyota financial would match it so we went through Toyota instead of the credit union. Looking forward to some serious road trips this Spring and Summer! Will be going south to California to Yosemiti in June if all goes well. Dave
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(eucalyptic @ Mar 3 2007, 02:41 PM) </div> Dammit! Why didn't I just wait a few more days?!?! I guess it hurts more psychologically than financially though, since 2.9 and 3.9 is not a huge difference in overall interest. On the bright side, I got my first choice color combination and I absolutely love the car. To save anyone who might be thinking about this some time- It's not possible to change interest rates through Toyota, even if they haven't processed your application yet <_<
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jupitercrash @ Mar 5 2007, 10:00 PM) </div> This is EXACTLY how I feel. They don't have any more seaside pearl package 2s anymore, so alls well that ends well.
Damn, and I hurried to buy mine before the end of the month. Should have known the incentives were going to be extended and improved.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveLeePrius @ Mar 5 2007, 01:30 PM) </div> Speaking of Yosemite in your new Prius in June.... Are you going to get a car top holder for camping gear? Are you bound for Tuolumne? White Wolf? the Valley? Are you bringing bikes on a bike rack? Sigh....Looking forward to all of this and the flowers!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jendbbay @ Mar 6 2007, 04:37 PM) </div> No car top holder, bringing just sleeping bags and will camp at Camp Curry in the canvas tents there. Just the valley, no bikes. Was there in 1996 and the cars drive so fast on the roads in the park I would be too nervous to try to bike. Can't wait to hit the road! Dave
