OK - I'm a relatively new member, owner of a 2007 Touring with the rear view camera option (Option #2?). In the few months I've been here I've been very impressed with the technical genius of hacking the Prius. So I've got a test for anyone willing to accept it. I own a video iPod, and play standard audio through the line in that is located in the center console. But I want to watch video from the iPod as well. The video camera works when reverse is selected. Is there a way to tap into the video circuit to display the video from my iPod? If that can be done, how would I get the audio to sync with it? Would the line in still work? Thanks in advance. Len

I too would be interested in any new information about utilizing the 2006 and newer screens as generic video devices. I'm glad I have a 2005 and CAN-View that can play video from my iPod on the oem screen, but in a few years when we finally get Toyota talked into selling PHEV versions of the Prius and I upgrade my homebuilt PHEV to a factory PHEV I'll want to have this ability to jack into the OEM screen again!
