I'm looking to buy a 2007 prius in red with option/package #2 (and mats) in the Bay Area and wondering if anyone has any dealer recommendations.

I received one or two quotes in the $24.5k ("out the door") range for Santa Clara zip code. Thanks!

I just bought a Prius in the bay area last night. Just yesterday the Walnut creek Toy dealer quoted me $22,030 for a Barcelona Red Package #2 with biege interior and mats including destination. That would be just over $24,2K with doc, T&L out the door. The Toy dealer in Berkeley also had lots of Package 2s for about the same price but I can't remember their stock of colors.

I just bought a 2007 Silver Option 6 on 24 Feb for $23,674 (MSRP w/$2500 back) from Piercey Toyota in San Jose. The dealer had a sale for the 51 Prius on the floor while supplies last. Awesome car and deal!! I went from a Chevy Tahoe 4wd 13 mpg to this 2k7 Prius which I am happily counting my MPG.

I saw that, Melody Toyota was also offering $2500 off all in stock, However both dealers only had package 4 or above when I contacted them on Friday for the sale....Congrats on your purchase!

I got my 07 Prius Touring at invoice from the fleet manager at Toyota Vallejo. He also offered me lesser packages for $250 over invoice. I'm not sure if that's better than $2500 off MSRP, but I think it's worth it to give him a call/shoot him an email.

    Good luck.

I got my Prius at Putnam Toyota in Burlingame - $22,330 quoted price and ~$24,430 OTD. It sounds like you can get a better price shopping around a bit though. Especially since I probably got dinged on the "advertising fees" and whatnot.
