Last Thursday I became the proud owner of '07 Seaside Pearl Prius Pkg #4. I'm about 720 miles into it and am so amazingly satisfied so far. I will forever miss my '01 Solora Convertible but I needed something safer for my new baby that'll be here in September. Pictures!!:
Well, I'm becoming a Prius owner tomorrow, Saturday 24-Feb-07. Black, package no. 6 with the satellite radio, backup camera, Bluetooth that pairs with my phone, CD player, port for iPod, GPS... all the gadgets. The ultimate Geek status symbol. I'm so stoked.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Geek @ Feb 23 2007, 11:35 PM) </div> Ok, it's tomorrow, do you have it? You're tempting the gods of Murphy by announcing that before you have FIH (Fob in Hand), but congrats, welcome and enjoy the ride!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Geek @ Feb 23 2007, 08:35 PM) </div> Congratulations! You live in such a nice area, too. I drove down 101 the other weekend, going from the East Bay to San Luis Obispo.
Congrats! Welcome to the group! Don't you just love the Seaside Pearls? That's exciting about your new baby, congrats on that, too!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(ZenCruiser @ Feb 23 2007, 09:05 PM) </div> Thank you all for the welcomes. Yes! I have it! Picked it up last night around 7 PM from Salinas Toyota. It's black with the dark grey leather. I have to take it back to have the satellite radio installed, and I've already ordered the iPod adaptor. I guess I can listen to CDs for now. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Oh, the graphic is in the Avatar collection in this forum.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Geek @ Feb 25 2007, 01:29 PM) </div> In the mean time, why don't you get an AUX input for your iPod? It's only like $5, and you'll be able to plug it right in...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(razzledazzlebee @ Feb 25 2007, 10:51 AM) </div> I actually had one here somewhere.... The last time I used it was when I rented a car a couple of years ago. Oh well, I guess my first drive will be to Radio Shack! B)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Geek @ Feb 25 2007, 01:59 PM) </div> LOL, it's very handy and you just keep the iPod in the center console. Also, there's an AV charger right next to that so you can be charging your pod at the same time. I love it so much, and didn't see the need for the extras (I'm just happy to not be using those darned FM transmitters anymore )
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(razzledazzlebee @ Feb 25 2007, 12:34 PM) </div> I know what you mean. I have a charger that also transmits FM. It can only transmit on two of the most crowded channels in the band. There's always interference. I basically use it as a charger. The cassette adapter worked much better in my former car, but cassettes have gone the way of 8-track tapes (not that I'll miss them--you can't beat having your entire music collection with you wherever you go). I just want to be able to change tracks, etc. without digging the iPod out of the console. I did get the cable today--RS only had a six foot cable, which fills the compartment with a ridiculous amount of wire, but hey. It'll do for a week or so.
