<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TJandGENESIS @ Feb 21 2007, 09:40 PM) </div> Not now, but I was a few hours ago. The next poster plays guitar.
No... no musical instruments at all. But I do sing in the shower! The next poster was glad to get home from work and take their boots off.
Not by choice, but I have to be when the little one gets up at the crack of dawn. The next poster has taken a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas (hint-hint).
so THAT's where you're going! i've never gone on a cruise before. the next poster is doing the same thing today that they did yesterday, and the day before, and the day before.
Well sort of... I am doing the same thing as yesterday and the day before that, but not the day before that because it was President's Day and I was not at work. The next poster is so envious that livelychick is going on a cruise. They are fabulous! And especially to the Caribbean.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(eclectcmoi @ Feb 22 2007, 01:03 PM) </div> eh, not really. Disney cruise = lots of kids (I'd imagine). not such a big fan..... The next poster is envious of anybody (including eclectcmoi) who got to have President's Day free of laborious activities....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jgills240 @ Feb 22 2007, 04:19 PM) </div> Yes. I spent the whole friggin' day trying to install a new dishwasher to no avail. I'm still frustrated about it! The next poster has recently had to fight strong winds while driving her Prius.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(livelychick @ Feb 22 2007, 01:24 PM) </div> Fairly regularly. 50+ mph sustained winds aren't unusual here, I just had a nasty headwind this morning. And we've had skiers blown uphill before. The next poster recently completed a home remodeling project, or will be soon.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(eclectcmoi @ Feb 22 2007, 09:09 PM) </div> No, cheese puffs The next poster just recently experienced lay off.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(SSimon @ Feb 22 2007, 08:10 PM) </div> No, but I have nightmares about it. And daymares, too. And morningmares, and eveningmares. I'm so sorry. The next poster is worrying about being laid off.
Don't really worry about it...but I do realize that in this economy it's always a possibility. Next post watched Gray's Anatomy tonight. Did they kill off Meredith? I missed it.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(AuntBee @ Feb 23 2007, 02:18 AM) </div> Yes I did, and no they did not. They killed off her mom, so a Gray did die. The next poster watched CSI, and loved the '3-D' effect at the beginning, in HD!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(livelychick @ Feb 22 2007, 02:24 PM) </div> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jtullos @ Feb 22 2007, 02:54 PM) </div> (For the record...We've found that head/tailwinds are, um, a breeze in the Pri--however, CROSSWINDS seem to make it drive like a refrigerator on teeny tiny wheels...) Never have watched any of the CSI franchise...so sue me. We watched our DVR of Studio 60. HD. No 3D. The next poster is THRILLED that they have finally made available the first season of Saturday Night Live and St. Elsewhere on DVD. And has bought both. (And probably lives in the past in general...)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Rufaro @ Feb 23 2007, 07:03 AM) </div> Actually, yes I am, and yes I have bought both. The next poster has more in common with the previous poster then they thought.
Not in these here fun and games, I'm not--note the folks you DON'T see playing! The next poster is endlessly, hopelessly, stumped about the number of people who just DON'T GET IT! (e.g., those who would object to the bumper sticker I had on my previous car, a '91 Acura Integra hatchback, wot went to my kid after I got the Pri, who promptly killed it--but no other injuries, fortunately: "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.")
Nope. On the one hand, most people do not pay enough attention to get outraged, and on the other hand, you cannot sustain rage endlessly. If you are outraged about everything, then everything sinks to the same banal level. There is not THAT much to be OUTRAGED about really. Just do what you can when you can where you can. Think globally, act locally. The next poster rolled his/her eyes at my post. (p.s.- I tend to reserve my outrage for crimes against children)
