I have tried to use the "traf" button on my audio display several times without results. Does anyone find that it is useful, particularly in Southern California?
I think it uses RDS to figure out which stations will broadcast traffic information. If no stations broadcast RDS for traffic, no stations are found. I want the real-time traffic info found in the upcoming 2005 Acura RL. THAT would be useful in LA.
The other day I recieved a traffic message (CD play was paused and the radio station cut in). I was very surprised because this has never happened me before despite having RDS radios for many years. Technical wonder Prius manged to convince me that it really works. :lol: /Paj
