    I was just wondering.

In "track" mode, it'll show the artist, album and track title.

In "playlist" or "album" mode, it doesn't show the name of the playlist or the title of the album. Both only show the title of the song.

Is that the way it's supposed to be?

That's the way it works for me. I'd rather it display the Playlist or Album tag data. When you are on Disk 1 it can read and display those tags. Stupid programming.

Another weirdness: say you're listening to the playlist called Mama Mia and it plays through to the end – at the end, the music stops. In Playlist mode you can switch "down", but it doesn't take you to the New Shoes playlist, it goes to the Abba playlist (how can I forget you?).

In Playlist mode, it doesn't loop. I have 6 playlists and when I get to the 6th, pressing down doesn't change it back to 1. It just goes to 7, realises there isn't a 7th, then jumps back to 6.

Yeah, I think it's just iterating through the playlists in order. In a way, that's good, because you can memorize that a certain playlist is the 4th in the list and you can always get there no matter what playlist you're in. I'm not 100% sure, since some of my playlists overlap so it's hard for me to tell which one I'm in, but it seems like the very first "playlist" is "all songs"? Has anyone else noticed that?

I emailed DICE Support about this similiar problem with my 07 Prius. They told me to call back next week to get the updated firmware.

Yes, I did. They shipped me a new unit and installed to my car. I can't tell the difference yet, it is only in the car for less than 1 week. I had some problems with the old unit (hang up which I need to unplug the power to the Dice unit to reset it. I was select different play list and it crashed)

Have you gotten any response yet from DICE on the firmware update? I'm interested too, as the unit I installed yesterday in on 06 Prius doesnt' quite do what I'd like it to.
