A wireless connection to your car. It looks like the Carman SW can be customized to look at different codes through the CAN bus, not just the default set. Just a heads up, there's also a tool called "Dynoscan" that's been on the market for a few years (I have had it since before CAN-View) that does a lot of this...not with as fancy of an interface, but it's an excellent tool and can be used with PC or PDA. http://www.auterraweb.com/dyforwi.html

So I wouldn't hold my breath on that point. Still, it's a good tool. But, honestly, at the stated cost of $200 I'd definately go for the CAN-View for the versatility and added info if your primary interest in for the Prius. That said, I think I paid $160 via e-bay or some place for mine and CAN-View didn't exist at the time.
Re: New OBD2 scanner for with Toyota enhancements Looks like Auterra finally released their scanner software that allows probing most of the Toyota systems, but no control (Writing).
