I spoke with "Liz" today, and she confirmed that I will be getting my stickers, and that I should be receiving them in the next 7 days.

She also shed a little light on the stickers. She said (and I am not sure why) that they had stopped issuing stickers/certificates at some point. She then said that once they confirmed they had enough stickers to continue, they began processing more applications this week. The process of sending out the final (her term) stickers/certificates began on February 6.

I GOT MY STICKERS TODAY!!! WOOHOO!!! Sticker #HE92XXX... You cannot believe how worried I was over this issue.

I bought our Prius Dec 4th and the Dealer did not get the DMV paperwork in until Jan 13th so I had to wait until then to get the plate #...

THIS ROCKS!!! I feel so relieved to be holding the stickers in my hands. I wish the best to everyone else who is still waiting.

I received my HOV stickers on Feb 9, 2007. I submitted the application on Jan 22nd and the check was processed on Jan 27. Good luck to everyone

 

Bought on 1/19, check was cashed 1/24, got my license plates on 1/25. Just got stickers 2/9 #923xx. YEAH!!

 

I am pretty confused by all these posts, especially the last one.

I bought my Prius on 1/19, got the new fastrak transponder the same day, sent in my application on 1/20.

Got my plates on 1/29 and sent in another application.

So far, nothing from DMV (no rejections) and no cashed check.

I'm confused because it is sounding like some lucky folks are getting their applications through without plates. I know DMV is busy, I just hope they are applying the rules consistently.

WE RECEIVED OUR STICKERS IN TODAY'S MAIL!!! YAY!!!

Still have not seen any posts by a real live person whose check was cashed but received a refund or rejection letter instead of stickers, but also have not seen any posts by anyone who has received a rejection letter yet. Good luck to everyone!

 

Sorry, it is a little confusing. My dealer must have walked the registration over and got a license number, then processed the HOV application at the same time. But I have seen some brand new cars with stickers in Orange County. We were wondering about how they did that.

arrived 1/24
check cleared 2/5 but showed up online 2/6 for first time online as being processed.
stickers arrived in the mail 2/10!!!!

Bought the car January 21, had the dealer expedite plates,
Got the plates and "overnighted" the application Jan 23,
Express mail was delivered Jan 25, 5:25 AM,
Check cashed Jan 27, cleared Jan 30,
Stickers issued Feb 5,
Stickers arrived Feb 10!

How about a contest for the LAST person to get stickers?

 

I bought the car on Jan 07.
i got my license plate on 1/19, sent overnight on the same day;
I got the sticker on the 2/9.

 

We finally got stickers!

Bought the car: 1/19
Sent complete application via 1st class certified mail from SF: 1/20
arrived sacramento P.O. box: 1/24 (what took so long?!)
check cleared our bank: 2/6
stickers postmarked: 2/7
stickers delivered to us: 2/9 or 2/10

sticker number 924xx

whew...that was close!

 

I just received my stickers in the mail today! #HE92XXX

Check cleared 1/30
Received stickers 2/14

I was worried I would get a rejection letter but I haven't heard of anyone who's check cleared not getting stickers.

I remember I read someone posted before that 1/26 was the last date to process applications, so I was assuming that I would just miss the last batch because my application should have been arrived on the week of 1/29. Oh well I am so happy getting it now, maybe the dropdead date were a few days later. This is soooooo close.... ;-P
