Me and my wife are planning to buy a Prius and have narrowed it down to Red with package 3. I've exachanged emails with most of the DFW-Austin area dealers and most of them are willing to go about 2k below MSRP. All dealers in Austin are willing to give 10% below MSRP. I've been reading this forum for quite some time now and never anybody talk about such discounts. Any inputs / guesses ? Thanks
In San Diego, CA, the Sunday paper is full of ads for $3,000 to 3,200 off MSRP. Many here to choose from, if you belong to Costco, check out who is their authorized dealer for Toyota in your area and see what kind of a price they are willing to give you.

Are you contacting the Internet or Fleet Sales Manager? Also good to check out the prices offered through the buying programs. Good luck and keep us posted.

Also tries to charge ridiculous fees for standard equipment such as the clear rear bumper protector applique and bumper skirt trim.
