Went in to the local tax place. Everything accounted for and finalized I will be getting the FULL credit. I couldn't eFile today because the software they use wouldn't have the 8910 update in until February 15th. Otherwise everything is done and stored and ready to be filed *phew*
I got everything set back in late January, and it showed me getting the whole amount since I bought back in July. Then, when the software updated around the 1st of February, it knocked my refund down about $1,500. My AMT is $0, but I'm running into with all the deductions that I have from my income getting to where my tax I guess is less than the full hybrid credit, something like that I guess. When I get to the section on the credits, the form shows the $3,150, but the summary that shows all the credits shows only $1,568. Gotta wait until the 2/16 update anyway, but that's kind of a bummer.

It did all the calculations for AMT and eventually gave me the entire rebate. Free E-File. Each case is different, but it wouldn't hurt to try it. My return was accepted by the FEDS.
