should i purchase the extended warranty that is offered at the time of sale for my new Prius? 7 years/75K miles, no deductible, bumper to bumper $640 sold by dealer as a toyota product do i need this?
Depends on how many miles you anticipate putting on the car as to which deal is better. I bought the 7/75k for $685 when I bought my car. Since I was replacing a 1994 Honda Civic with 61k miles, it was pretty clear that I would max out on years well before I hit 75k miles.
Remember, you don't have to get it right when you buy the car; you can wait until your 3/36 is almost up.

]I am looking into the extended warranty for my 2006 Pruis and the hubbys 2006 Thundra, ( wont admit it to hubby but thats a very comfy truck). My delema is would my toyota dealer here in melbourne florida except this warranty. I mean will it be backed by toyota since it isnt a florida warranty. My dealer wouldnt give me a straight answer on this but did try to scare me into getting one from him before my car got to 12,000 miles saying it would then no longer be concidered a new car after that and that it would cost me much more for much less of a waranty. Where was God when salesman ware born,,, lmao
