Hey guys, for those of you who are filing your taxes online (in my case with TurboTax) I logged on just now to discover that the updated 8910 form is ready! It's taking me through the section now so check now on the IRS website for the form. It does now say 2006 on the form. Here's the link: 2006 Vehicle Tax Credit
Thanks for the update. I have been waiting for TurboTax to email me that it was available and I can continue my 1040.
The IRS form implies that it is for 2006 based on the wording, date codes, etc but the form itself still says 2005.
I logged in on turbotax.com, and it still says the Hybrid form isn't ready! I'm attaching a screen shot: [attachmentid=6385]
Well I didnt get that on my screen....here's what I got when I logged in earlier this evening: [attachmentid=6388]

FWIW: I just purchased, installed, and updated the standalone version of TurboTax today, and it mostly works regarding the credit. It walks you though some misleading questions, then asks what model/year, tells you what your credit will be, figures it in, and moves on. All looks well (and correct) - however if you actually visually inspect the form, it has a "DRAFT" watermark on it (but it does say 2006). So I suspect it's not 100% safe to submit as is, but should be shortly. Doesn't matter to me though - I'm still waiting on a schedule K-1, so I can't finish up yet regardless. -Ken

My Turbo Tax says "This form is not ready because we are completing final calculations to ensure accuracy". It may be because I use Windows and other users may be using a Mac.
