The *general* concensus seems to be that the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is well worth it. In fact, I believe the government has mandated that ALL cars have it by 2010, or something like that, as it does save lives. I originally wanted a 2006 Package 4, with VSC, but settled for a Package 3, without VSC, but I definitely was willing to pay the difference if I could have.
