After all, I won't start collecting full social security benefits until next month. I won't be retiring until I'm 67 though. Actually my wife is a wee bit older than I, but she started collecting S.S. at 62, so that doesn't count. Dave M.
I am 25 and just bought my Prius all by myself - I'm such a big girl! I bought it to replace mu 1999 Mazda Protege, which was my high school graduation gift. Here in the Triangle area of NC, I see a mix of ages driving Prii - though I still think i'm the youngest I've seen. I love the fact that, at age 25, I may have said goodby to all-gas cars forever! Take that big oil!
i'm a 23yr old male in san jose. I may have seen you once or twice. I'm the one zooming by in the fast lane. you'll see a silver streak.... zoom.. what was that? me.... I see very few females my age. the ones i do see my age are rather attractive though. it's a prius thing, i'm sure. I'm purchasing it myself. Financing. I should have waited till my life is a little more stable.. but the way i see it... get the car out of the way now.

Or what we did before there was Google...or web pages! My eight-year-old son is perfectly willing to believe there weren't cars or airplanes when I was kid, but can't imagine I hadn't seen a computer at his age.)

I have seen all age groups driving both Prii and Highlander Hybrids in my travels. Personally, I am 55 and between my wife and I we have 3 hybrids, '04 Prius, '06 Highlander and a "07 Prius Touring. We keep the 06 and 07's here for a daily drivers and the trusty '04 with almost 75,000 miles stays at our daughters (also a hybrid owner but the other brand) house in Phoenix.

My prius has a seaside pearl twin brother (with pinstriping) and a driftwood pearl sister (with signs of being a family sedan on the inside) on the same block. It seems I'm one of the few young'uns in the DC/MD/VA area. Don't see too many young ones. And yeah! No one waves back at me! I make a point to drive near others sometimes and park next to other prii when I can. We're just all too entranced with our MFD.
