Hi all, After viewing all the pictures of Priuses with their guts exposed, and hearing about unfamiliar things like ground loop isolators, I'm getting a little squeamish about cracking open my ride. I have a 2006 Prius and just purchased the Ultimate Lockpick 3, and am looking to purchase an in dash DVD player. Anyone live in Chicago who feels confident about doing this kind of install? I will happily pay for expert assistance. Thanks!

I followed their advice and it was the best money I ever spent (about $60). I have since lost his name, but I imagine you can call Toyota of Northbrook and ask for the their installer's name on Techny Road and go to him. I highly recommend his work. I also purchased the Ultimate Lockpick 3 and am waiting to get the DICE HD Head unit and have both installed by this same installer at once. When you find out his name, will you pass it back to me so I can go to him once again. I agree that it was a frightening experience to see the guts of your car exposed, but this installer has the experience on Prius cars and he did a first rate job for not too much money and was very nice.

Also had a DVD player installed, that I had to reinstall correctly. If you need/want free help, PM me and we can arrange something. I will not charge for this...I like doing it too much. Rick
