what is the invoice and msrp on this car? im looking to purchase one. and can you get it 500.00 dollars above invoice? this is my first post.
Go to edmunds.com and price to your heart's content. Just ignore the "true market value" because it will probably give you some outlandishly high figure...did for me in December. I think $500 over invoice might be possible, which I think would put you under $23,000 somewhere (plus TTL). I bought mine (same package) in december for a little over $23,000.
I am sure you can get it for less than invoice in Washington DC metro area. Advertised sale prices are 22k + processing fee ($300) for Prius with package#2. See here: http://www.millertoyota.com/profile.asp?VI...mp;FilterMake=0 If that vehicle is sold before you open the link, go to dealer's main page and search for Prius. This dealership has plenty of them for that price. My experience with rest of the dealerships is pretty much the same - nearly $500-$1000 below invoice. By the way, I bought a Magentic Gray with package #4 (plus floor mats package and wheel locks) yesterday for $23,600+tax+tags=$24,400 out-of-door price in Virginia. I also got 3.9% financing for 36 months from Toyota. Good Luck! SmrtGuy
I got mine a month ago at Mountain States Toyota at Denver. 2007 Green Option 2 at 22600 (plus county, city, own taxes of 1285). Good luck with your purchase! Em

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(track 1 @ Jan 25 2007, 08:23 PM) </div> As stated above, go to edmunds.com The invoice price changes from location to location. You can put in as many or as little features as you want. I went to 2 dealers and one of them offered $22,500 for a package 2.
Howdy track 1 Try loggin on to www.Toyota.com - Find Local Specials - Select a dealer - enter Model Year 2007 - enter Prius - Search. You will find a list of Prius available from the dealer you selected. You can click the "Status" column twice and the "In Stock" will appear at the top. The "Available" category are those available to that Dealer but not in his actual inventory. You can also "Build your Toyota" and determine its MSRP for whatever packages and options you prefer. I became very familiar with Toyota's information online when shopping for my 2007 Touring Edition bought in November '06.
I bought my package #2 on saturday, january 27th. Should not have looked at this post - I love my new priis, but am still reeling from the $$$ purchase! I got mine for $23,163 plus the unavoidable taxes and fees. My research from edmunds, etc. said the the base invoice was $20,419, and invoice for package 2 was something like $960. What got me was the Southeast Region Administrative fee. I wish I had researched that more - I saw it on the edmunds list of fees, but I thought it was the same as the delivery fee of $675. I didn't know enough to argue when they said it was unavoidable. So, the invoice price was really around 22,600. I also got the floormats ($163, invoice.) Basically I paid $23,000 plus mats. MSRP was $24,245. (560 over invoice, 1083 under msrp.) Taxes and fees added about $1200. I also got the maintenence plan, which I think was rediculously priced. This was at Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh. Hope this helps.
