Attn: N. VA hybrids owners--your right to ride on I95 HOV lanes during rush hours with less than 3 people is scheduled to expire 7/1/07. Suggest you write your state legislators to eliminate the 7/1//07 date and extend the exemption forever. New I95 permits (clean fuel plates) were stopped being issued 7/1/06, thus, capping the number of hybrids allowed on the HOV lanes. With no date, the hybrids will disappear by attrition.
