Has anyone experienced a similar rear rattle on the right side of the car. Can’t seem to find where it’s coming from exactly. License plate and items under trunk don’t cause the sound.
FWIW. Sometimes one thinks a rattle is in the rear but actually in the front. The video/ photo you posted did not open on my computer. Two common areas are the heat shield over the muffler and the rear seat belts. You could ask someone to ride in the rear seat and "listen" plus poke around the interior panels. You could lift the car, remove the wheel rims, and with a rubber hammer, to also poke around. As a last resort, reinstall the wheel rims, keep the car in the air, but have the car very secured on the lift, start the car to listen and/ or again poke around with the rubber hammer. Good humting.
Thank you for info, ill try do that all of that. Also here's another link, you have to click the speaker icon in the corner for audio & it definitely sounds somewhere in rear to me - thinking a faulty strut or strut bolt possibly after reading a few posts on facebook and on here last night.
IIRC there was a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB), for some bolts on the rear shock tower coming loose?
Indeed, going to get a relative to help out with it next week. My only gripe with the 4th gens is all the rattles.
