I am a bit disappointed in myself for not finding this earlier. Meet MISO There are a number of these organizations in the USA, and I have not spent time with the others, so your results may vary. My favorite page, so far, is this one: Grid Emissions Map | Singularity Down near the bottom you can see a graph for the current grid mix. This is updated every five minutes. For any data geeks I highly recommend it
